It all started with some fun experiments using an early version of ChatGPT.

I was creating images, searching for a visual counterpart to my music and an idea for an album cover.

The images were strange, distorted, often absurd—perfect in their imperfection. Over time, however, as the technology advanced, they became increasingly polished, correct, and predictable. They lost what had initially been most fascinating about them: their unpredictability.

It is precisely this element that interests me in music: the moment when something spirals out of control—an unexpected turn, a coincidence, a decision made in a split second that cannot be planned in advance or precisely recreated later.

*Artificial Intuition* is an album on which composition and improvisation remain in constant dialogue. Together with Jakub Mielcarek and Krzysztof Szmańda, we move between swing, rock, noise, acoustic sounds, and electronics.

The album brings together three approaches to musical form. There are tracks in which the composition—its melody, structure, and sonic beauty—remains in the foreground. This is a conscious choice—I wanted the music to be able to resonate in its specific form.

There are also compositions in which the written theme serves merely as a starting point, an invitation to further, collective exploration. Their final form emerges from our interaction, and improvisation becomes an essential part of the piece.

A third strand consists of pieces that are entirely improvised, with no predetermined structure. They emerge in real time, through mutual listening, intuition, and spontaneous decisions. Each is a one-time musical event—something that happened right then, with this particular lineup and under these specific circumstances, and will never be repeated in exactly the same way.

These three approaches are not mutually exclusive but rather complement one another. They allow us to navigate between what is planned and what is unpredictable.
